We view our homestays as a ‘slice of Scottish life’ providing you with invaluble insight into the Scottish culture and language.
The homestay programme completely immerses you in the British language and culture by getting to live and learn in a teacher’s home and make rapid progress in a brief period. The trip includes private English lessons and free time outside of lessons to visit attractions.
You enjoy full board accommodation, private English lessons and free time outside lessons and mealtimes to explore the area or share the daily life of your host teacher. Your host teacher will show you around the area, local shops, public transport and help you organise excursions and activities during your stay. If preferred, your host will accompany you on activities and excursions so you have maximum exposure to the English language.

Maritime Museum, Aberdeen University & Cathedral, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Gordon Highlander’s Museum, Blair Atholl Whisky Distillery, Johnstons of Elgin, Dean’s Shortbread Visitor Centre, Dunnottar Castle, Fettercairn Distillery, St Cyrus Nature Reserve, Montrose Wildlife Centre, Cairngorms National Park.
