Most frequent questions and answers about our Online Courses
We use Zoom for online lessons which enables our teachers to teach content to a group but also use breakout rooms for smaller group discussions and pair work.
We encourage you to work with either a laptop, iPad or desktop computer. To immerse yourself fully in the teaching content we recommend headphones and a webcam (or a camera and speaker on your computer) and an internet broadband connection.
We provide our own worksheets, authentic materials (newspaper articles etc) and interactive games and speaking activities for maximum fun and progress.
All of our teachers are native speakers and are qualified to Trinity CertTESOL or CELTA (Cambridge) level. Some teachers have additional qualifications in DELTA (Cambridge Diploma) or Trinity DipTESOL.
We will send you a multiple-choice test to assess your level plus a writing task. We ask you to fill out a needs analysis form and speak to you before you start. This helps us to decide which course is best suited to your needs.
We believe in connecting and learning together so you enjoy the experience and grow alongside other students of similar ability. You will speak with other international students and local hosts, authors and speakers whilst being taught and led by a native English teacher.
