An immersive experience for groups in Scotland’s unique natural and cultural heritage with the opportunity to connect with local peopleFrom a tour of one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries to attending a mini-Highland games and traditional Scottish ceilidh, this programme will give you a feel for what Scotland is really like. 

DUNNOTTAR CASTLE

AM: Arrival in Scotland
PM: Guided Visit of Dunnottar Castle: which is full of mystery and intrigue, Dunnottar is where William Wallace defeated the English and the Scottish crown jewels were hidden.

Full day excursion to Dundee

AM: V&A Museum Scottish Design Museum: tour focuses on Scottish games design, fashion, architecture and product design V&A Dundee.
PM: RRS Discovery Guided Visit: The story of the iconic ship ‘Discovery’ and her amazing Antarctic expedition.

Full day excursion to Stonehaven

AM: Mini Highland Games: Haggis Spoon Race, Rolling Haggis, Welly Wang, Tug O’ War, Tossing Caber).
PM: Traditional Scottish Ceilidh: Pupils will learn Highland Dancing with a qualified dance teacher and have a go at playing bagpipes. Haggis, Neeps and Tatties An evening to taste and savour Scottish local food together with host families.

Full day excursion to Aberdeen

AM: Gordon Highlanders Museum: Discover the story of the best regiment in the world and dress up as Highlander.
PM: Visit of Mar Lodge Estate: Hike in the Cairngorms National Park to discover deer, otters and ancient woodland Mar Lodge Estate.

Full day excursion to Elgin

AM: Johnstons of Elgin: Discover the ancient craft of tweed, tartan and cashmere weaving. Elgin Cathedral Guided tour of one of Scotland’s most ambitious and medieval buildings.

PM: Speyside Cooperage: Discover the ancient craft of the cooper Speyside Cooperage.
